The Manitoba Chapter is hosting for the 2010 National Conference for the Canadian Celiac Association.
The conference will be held June 4-6, 2010 at the Victoria Inn, 1808 Wellington Avenue in Winnipeg. The Victoria Inn is the largest convention hotel in Manitoba, and has recently undergone a complete restoration. It now features a Dino Beach Family Water Park. It is close to the airport and not far from Polo Park, Winnipeg’s largest shopping centre.

These studies are done in collaboration with the Departments of Dermatology, Immunology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Epidemiology, and Biostatistics. The studies encompass complications of celiac disease including small bowel cancer and intersect with programs in the Mayo Comprehensive Clinical Cancer Center and the Clinical Research Unit (CRU).
Speaking as well is Dr. Duerksen, on “Osteoporosis study”. Sherry Torkos will speak on “CD and Medications” and Marion Zarkadas will speak on the “CCA Survey Results”. There will aslo be a panel discussion on “Eating out, when you can’t cook for yourself”.
