I am sure that you are all busy enjoying this lovely spring. Planting your gardens, filling your baskets with colorful flowers that we hope will last all summer. The blossoms on the fruit trees are so pretty and fragrant. Life is good.
We will have a very special speaker at our meeting on May 9th. Dr. Brent Barlow is taking time out of his busy schedule to talk to us about Naturopathic Healthcare and how it relates to celiac disease. I would ask that you arrive by 11:30 as Dr. Barlow has another engagement later so could not come after lunch.
This is Mothers Day so this is a special treat for us all. So please make the effort to arrive a little earlier then usual. Who knows we may even have more special treats for all you very deserving MOM’S.
Angela is busy working on Awareness for May. We will all be at Choices for the Awareness Event that they have so generously put on for our chapter. It is going to be a fun day with a lot of great speakers and demos etc. so come out to this event and have fun. I think that Angela is still looking for volunteers so if you can help please contact Angela ASAP.
The Penticton Chapter is also busy working on Awareness for that area, and everyone is busy again this
I would also like to say how please I am with the events that have been going on in the Kootenay area. Good work and thank you all for the events that you have planed and all your hard work.
This is a reminder of the CCA Conference in Winnipeg June 4th – 6th. Once again there will be many great speakers and of course the FOOD.
I look forward to seeing everyone at our Potluck meeting.
